PENINSULA UNIT (GPF36)

INSTALLATION

1. Slide firebox into prepared framing or position

firebox in its final position and frame later.

2. Bend out two (2) nailing flanges to 90°,

3. Level and plumb firebox by checking edges of

firebox. Shim if necessary.

4. Attach nailing flanges to studs. See Figure 14.

5. Remove two baseplates from bottom of firebox.

See Figure 15

6. Anchor firebox to floor with four

/16"x1

/4"

screws through holes located on the bottom of

the firebox. See Figure 14.

7. Install canopy. Refer to page 15 for canopy

installation.
